Main Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Generate revenue by growing customer database and increasing market share.
  • Develop relationships with new customers by directing and supporting collaborative sales efforts to grow assigned business lines.
  • Analyses customer issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Follow yearly objectives as defined by Management.
  • Liaise with line Manager to develop specific sales strategies.
  • Suggest sales process improvements.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge with appropriate tools or resources.
  • Prepare sales presentations and keep record of sales trends.
  • Establish close working relationships between the regional and local teams to identify sales.
  • opportunities for new and existing clients.
  • Administration and execution of all quotation requests, through various channels - web enquiries, email & walk in clients etc.
  • Update sales pipeline weekly.
  • Suggest sales process improvements.
  • Refer all quotations for approval where applicable (limit, costs, terms of payment.
  • Engage with local markets to determine trends and competitive environments.
  • To assist with market analysis exercise in line with agreed strategy.
  • Attend exhibitions and other promotional activities where applicable.
  • Attend to marketing related activities as required by line manager.
  • Support with customer survey and satisfaction initiatives.
  • Knowledge of merchandising techniques and methods for specialized and/or technical products.
  •  In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Skill in dealing with the public; knowledge of and proven ability to apply customer service techniques.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Familiar with ISO's 9001, 14001, 45001 and 17025.
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English.
  • Practical computer knowledge from the user's point of view of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM System programs (is an advantage).

Habilitações

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field;
  • At least 5 years work experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships.
  • Experience in Selling Technical Services is an advantage.
  • Good Verbal & Written skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Flexible, self-motivated, and enthusiastic.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent administration skills including filing and maintaining records.
  • Able to work effectively with minimal management guidance/supervision
  • Personal commitment to achieving high performance within the workplace.
  • Goals and results orientated.
