Internship description / Goals to Achieve:

. Support to laboratory activities within the scope of ISO 17025 and 9001

. Stock management - handling, treatment, decontamination, and disposal of material

. Development of solutions and culture media

. Maintenance of laboratories (cleaning, records, equipment checks, etc.) according to current operational procedures

. Development of molecular biology methods for plant biotechnology applications

. Application of methodologies in Molecular Microbiology - input of samples, handling and processing, carrying out the analysis, results interpretation

You must have:

. Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related areas

. Eligibility for IEFPs Ativar Internship programme

. Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office programs - Word, Excel

. Proficiency in English - Independent User

. Organization capacity and sense of responsibility

. Proactivity and willingness to learn and to deliver

. Critical judgement

. Teamwork
