Job Description
- Generally, in-charge of maintaining the safety, and quality management system and for ensuring the business’s compliance with the Global Business policies and procedures, Corporate Governance, Health and Safety, Operational Integrity, other required management system standards, applicable laws, and approved customer-related commitments.
- Responsible for ensuring that Quality, Health and Safety, Environment and Energy (QHSEE) Management System, processes and policies are established, implemented, and maintained.
- Developing, implementing, and enforcing Quality, Health and Safety, Environment and Energy (QHSEE) policies and procedures
- Oversee the implementation of QHSEE through auditing, training, incident investigation, QHSEE Policies and Procedures and methods designed to drive the organization’s QHSEE culture and goals through an expert knowledge of international and local QHSEE standards and legislation as well as organization’s standard.
- Reporting on performance and needs for continuous improvements through facilitating process improvement and cascading to the other safety and auditors.
- Conducting and reporting on operational audits of Fuel Marking operations to identify issues relating to the effectiveness of critical controls, compliance, achievement, reliability, efficiency and of safeguarding assets.
- Supervising a team of Safety and Audit professionals to carry out projects or tasks related to QHSEE management.
- Leads the team of Safety and Audit Auditors in projects and manages the overall direction and coordination of the QHSEE function on project by identifying and approving necessary QHSEE plans and their effect to operation and ensure balance between quality, safety, and productivity in accordance with applicable laws and regulation.
- Lead the audit team on performance evaluation through periodic audit to ensure issues relating to effectiveness of critical controls, compliance, achievement, reliability, efficiency and of safeguarding assets is identified and controlled.
- Provide specialist advice and share best practice. Providing input into audit methodology and protocols ensuring due regard for risk management, standards compliance, business continuity and QHSEE initiatives.
- Monitoring company operations to ensure that they comply with local regulations such as DOLE and DENR requirements.
- Act as a Transportation Safety Champion and assist in the development and improvement of the group transportation safety program.
- Assist in the annual management review
- Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environmental related incidents are reported in Crystal Reporting System.
- Ensure that all regulatory permits and licenses are secured and renewed on time.
- Monitor the disposal of hazardous waste and other laboratory wastes.
- Liaise with building Admin for Emergency Evacuation drill. Regular review to policies & procedures to optimize overall process flow to ensure continuity of supply, receiving of items, logistics on transfer of items and attain cost savings
- Timely review of all reports required to be submitted on a regular basis
- Providing coaching in the deployment and implementation of the QHSEE Management System
- Ensures that the Management responsibilities related to management review, documentation and records control, corrective and preventive action, and customer satisfaction are carried out as planned.
- Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in support of departmental goal or for personal or professional training, education or development as programmed by immediate superior.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree holder of any 4-year Business discipline or engineering courses
- Experience: OSHAS 18001, ISO 22301 audit background and DOLE Safety accreditation is an advantage
- Willing to be assigned anywhere in the Philippines
Additional Information
- Must have experience in Quality Management System
- Has a strong auditing and training skills (any of these, an advantage)
- Has the ability to make professional judgements, with strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills
- Experience in project management, Lean, or any process improvement methodology, an advantage
- Could handle time management
