Job Description

The Business Aviation Program Manager is responsible for ensuring timely completion of all audits, audit reports, identifying and tracking of audit quality issues, coordinating with clients the corrective action required for audit closure, and client management and support.

  • Processing of audit reports
  • Coordinate and manage Corrective Action Process for audit reports
  • Ensures submission of final audit reports to appropriate agencies to comply with respective deadlines (IBAC, FSF, etc.)
  • Provide support to audit programs
  • Conduct Operator research, to include internet and data research on various topics as required
  • Coordinate with Charter Evaluation and Qualification (CHEQ) department with operator and audit information. This includes verifying that appropriate certificates, logos, and press releases are provided to the operator upon closure of their audit.
  • Performs supervisory functions, as needed. 
  • Communicates additional resource needs to the VP - Audit Programs BA.
  • General administrative and technical support duties.
     

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 5 years business aviation experience required. 
  • Experience developing and implementing flight or maintenance training programs is beneficial. 
  • Experience performing audits (internal/external)
  • ATP or Mechanics certificate with IA rating preferred 

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

  • Familiar with ARGUS Platinum and IBAC IS-BAO standards.  
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Databases and IT support helpful.
  • Excellent and professional written and verbal skills.
  • Familiar with 14 CFR Part 135 operations
