SGS LabTox SA, located in Nidau, is a leading laboratory in Switzerland in the analysis of asbestos in building materials and air samples.

• Perform analysis and research for a specific R&D project
• Support any other R&D project
• Support the laboratory for asbestos analytics using scanning electron microscopy:
  • Bulk samples
  • Air samples
  • Dust samples
• Analysis of bulk, air, dust samples for asbestos determination using scanning electron microscopy
• Mineralogical analysis
• Ensuring compliance with the quality management system
• Ensuring the absolute compliance of his/her actions with the Code of Integrity

• Mcs degree as geologist / petrologist
• At least 2 years of professional experience / lab experience
• Experience with quality standards and processes (ISO 17’025)
• Knowledge of building pollutants and environmental testing is a plus
• Knowledge of script language (Python, VBA) is a plus
• Solid background in science generally and lab environment specifically, preferably in asbestos
• Knowledge of ISO 17025
• Good knowledge in scanning electron microscopy techniques
• Knowledge in mineralogy / petrology an obligation
