Job Description
Working as a core member of our Health Sciences Commercial Operations team, you will contribute to lead generation and optimisation activities in collaboration with our global sales and marketing organisations. Additionally you will create and develop business opportunities and provide commercial and technical support to internal business partners.
More specifically, you will:
- Coordinate responses to Requests for information and proposals from Business Development Managers and Account Managers.
- Deliver technical proposals via quotation system and other tools for sales organization.
- Liaise with sites to develop databases of capabilities and associated prices within relevant applications.
- Act as global Salesforce superuser for Health Science – Drug Development team.
- Provide initial market (customer) engagement to identify commercial opportunities and generate leads for the global sales organization;
- Provide functional and technical support to internal business partners for laboratory applications including LIMS, global laboratory systems, Share point, CRM, CPQ, and other Oracle applications as required.
- Coordinate interactions with sites to ensure real time information is maintained from the drug development laboratory network.
- Undertake database interrogation, analysis and reporting including technical and commercial gap analysis.
- Support sales and operations organizations for pipeline reporting and demand forecasting.
- Support site communications planning and coordinate with Marketing as required.
- Liaise with global counterparts to develop best practice.
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level with 1 - 3 years’ experience in sales, laboratory and / or pharmaceutical environment;
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientated;
- Laboratory operational experience and knowledge of pharmacopeia;
- Experience of pricing/commercial quotation processes;
- Experience with laboratory business applications including LIMS, CRM, CPQ;
- Ability to understand and translate French, German or Mandarin a plus.
