Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ultimate responsibility for an area/region in terms of strategy formulation, business development and staffing.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare the office annual budget & follow up its execution
  • P&L responsibility and accountability for the Consulting activity in his/her office
  • Plan and execute business development activities for his/her office such as events, associations, trade fairs, etc.
  • Define the commercial strategy within the geographical region assigned to his/her office
  • Clients’ visits to capture new projects’ opportunities and leads
  • Identify, prepare and present new offers for new and current customers to get new contracts
  • Identify & recruit candidates (both consultants and program managers) to join his/her office based on forecasts and pipeline of demand
  • Mentoring & feedback of his/her team
  • Ensure that delivery of current projects under his/her office responsibility are exceeding customers’ expectations.
  • Report KPIs internally
  • Eventually participate in the development of new consulting products
  • Work closely with other key stakeholders, such as the training staff, CBE colleagues, IT and Legal.
  • At all times, adopt a safe behavior by exercising due regard for the health and safety of SGS employees and clients, in line with SGS policies and procedures;
  • At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.

Qualifications

PROFILE

  • +42 years old.
  • Degree in industrial engineering or similar.
  • More than 12 years of industrial experience in operations departments (Production, logistics, maintenance, quality, continuous improvement). Background in:
    • Team management
    • Consultancy (Not mandatory)
    • Companies with lean principles implemented at shopfloor
