Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

• In conjunction with the business strategy, identify, develop and implement new opportunities in existing or new markets to grow the business
• Ensure feasibility and successful delivery of products or services.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES:

• Develop and communicate strategies to establish partnerships and business relationships to market products and services
• Conduct and review market analysis to determine customer needs, pricing and trends
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, finance, operations and legal in the development and implementation of strategies, plans and business models
• Operate in liaison with other Business Managers in the resolution of business development matters
• Design and implement business solutions.
• Estimate demands for proposed projects based on market research and customer trend.
• Support management in dealing with negotiations, bids, contract development acquisitions and budgeting
• Analyze the financial impact of sales of products and services to new and existing customers
• Support marketing campaigns and promotions
• Monitor the competition’s product development and activities
• Follow market activity to anticipate new trends and capture business opportunities
• Network with key players
• Participate in the annual budget planning process
• Comply, at all times, with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Management and/or Marketing
• 7-10 years’ experience in Business Development or Marketing with successful track record
• Experience in the related field is an asset
• Fluent in local/customer language, high level of written and verbal English
