Reporting Line
- Direct Line to the Global Head of Corporate Communications
- Dotted line to the Corporate Communications Support Team Manager
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation and monitoring of the global communications strategy, in-line with the company strategy
- Manage the global communications community, designing, implementing and monitoring engaging programs and activities to support the company strategy, knowledge and foster collaboration among peers
- Identify and implement improvements on processes, methodology and guidelines to ensure stakeholder satisfaction
- Use data in a meaningful way as part of the decision-making process
- Management and oversight of the communications hub of the Intranet
- Line Management of the Communications Specialist including supporting their personal development
Specific Responsibilities
Global Internal Communications Support Team
- Support in the development, implementation and monitoring of the SGS global communications strategy
- Report on performance and metrics of global communications and lead the monthly dashboard report for global corporate communications
- Develop, lead and assess Global Communications Specialist tasks & responsibilities, KPIs and progression
- Draft and maintain governance for new communication tools and update existing governance/guidance and policies
- Manage and maintain the communications hub and other related pages on the SGS Intranet, including analytics and recommendations for improvements
- Maintain and update SGS Group materials on a bi-annual basis
- Build strong relationships with the internal stakeholders to boost collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Onboard new communications community members and develop engaging training, workshops and events to further drive knowledge and understanding
- Identify and share good practices in terms of marketing assets and communications tactics globally
- Partner with the global functions on their major campaigns to drive engagement internally
- Prepare, review and publish global staff announcements
- Maintain the list of Country Managing Director’s informing relevant employees of the changes
- Support the Business Communications and Marketing functions and help them navigate and find the appropriate responses or contacts
Qualifications
Profile
- Degree in Communications/Advertising/Marketing/Business, strong project management experience.
- At least 10+ years in communications for an international company, B2B and B2C, including internal communications and employee engagement
- Experienced in conceptualizing and implementing short-term and long-term campaigns
- Strong presentation skills to create and deliver team’s performance analytics
- Strong command of English written and spoken, other languages are a plus
Required Skills
- Good level in Microsoft applications: MS Teams, Stream and SharePoint
- Good level on Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Demonstrates personal integrity
- Expertise in Corporate Communications
- Excellent communication skills across diverse audiences in written, oral, and presentation formats
- Strong decision-making skills, common sense, the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively
- Experience working in a multi-cultural, international organization, where a high level of English proficiency (written and oral) is required to communicate with colleagues and stakeholders
- Acts quickly and decisively, able to make tough calls
- Customer-focused and delivery-oriented
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills – able to be flexible when the needs of the business change

- Office location is in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Philippines
- Hybrid mode work arrangement (with 1 - 2 times a week reporting onsite)
