Job Description

- This position is a maternity leave replacement, limited until approximately February 2024.

You will partner with stakeholders across our business to seek hard to find candidates for corporate and strategic positions across all SGS’s business lines and multiple support functions. This could include building out new business units as part of our 2023 growth plan or helping to scale up our businesses. Working as part of the Global HR team, you will utilize sourcing techniques such as social media to pipeline and source talent and leverage on your relationships with the business to reinforce hiring collaboration and turn demanding business requirements into reality.
More specifically, you will:
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to develop and implement end-to-end talent acquisition campaigns to hook hard to find talent;
- Building networks and communities with a variety multi-sourcing channels including social media.
- You possess a creative approach to talent acquisition and can write Boolean strings that guide you to the right talent.
- Think out of the box and prepare job adverts that don’t scare candidates away before they finish reading the first paragraph;
- You have experience of interviewing for a variety of roles and want to develop your skills;
- You are creative and identify proactive ways to find talent;
- You are the hiring manager’s go-to person and partner in crime for all things linked to talent attraction and acquisition;
Qualifications
- University level education or equivalent. Having a degree is beneficial but not a must-have. You must be keen to learn, develop and a have a thirst for acquiring new knowledge and techniques;
- 5 -8 years’ worth of recruitment experience, preferably gained in a delivery-focused RPO, inhouse or agency role;
- A good understanding of LinkedIn and how it works. You should be comfortable using the Recruiter search function;
- Proven background of directly sourcing candidates using methods such as networking, Boolean and x-ray searches;
- We do not mind which industries you have recruited for previously. It’s a plus if you have had exposure to megatrend areas like the IT, Pharmaceutical, Sustainability, Cyber Security or Innovation sectors;
- Good IT skills and an interest in how data can help you work better;
- Proven interest in people and what makes them tick. Ideally, you’ll be comfortable working with C and E level stakeholders and managing their expectations;
- Fluent in English and ability to speak other languages desirable;
- Team player – we all stick together when times get tough.
