Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

The senior Data Engineer is responsible to integrate the algorithms developed by Data Science team in the web application

  • You contribute to the implementation, maintenance and monitoring of algorithms in the scope of several projects and business needs.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES

  • In collaboration with the Data Scientist Lead, the Data Engineer is responsible for the maintenance of existing algorithms
  • Develops and implements the algorithms, performs quality control, testing and evaluation
  • Makes the integration between the algorithm and the webapp
  • Monitor the algorithms deployed by implementing relevant KPIs in productions
  • Helps on feasibility studies on new projects and business areas
  • Writes and maintains the technical documentations related to algorithms and the integration

Qualifications

PROFILE

  • Engineering master’s in development or software engineering
  • At least 5 years’ experience in IT implementation and integration, preferably in industries
  • Experience in software and product development
  • C#, Python 3.x, Git, .NET, Azure ML and Angular
  • Experience with data analysis and machine learning & deep learning algorithms
  • Experience with deep convolutional neural networks for image classification and object detection is an asset
  • Knowledge of and experience with classical image processing algorithms is an asset
  • Agile development knowledge
  • English and French written and spoken. A third language is an asset
