Job Description
AS SGS's Head of Global HR Operations, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all HR Technologies for SGS group including HRIS, ATS (SmartRecruiters), LMS (Oracle iLearning plus) and other related HR Systems. You will provide a critical focus on developing Global HR Technology strategy and implementation by partnering with the HR teams and key stakeholders globally. You will be a key member of Global HR Leadership Team, contributing to the strategic direction and formulation of Global HR policies, procedures, systems, and initiatives.
More specifically, you will:
Drive value and operational excellence by building and maintaining streamlined and scalable HR systems solutions for a growing, global organization
- Drive global HR System implementation and partner with regional HR leaders to develop support infrastructure after system in place
- Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership regarding core HRIS, as well as other HR systems and tools, supporting processes and reporting
- Develop and drive an HR Analytics strategy and roadmap. Apply advanced knowledge of using and interpreting data visualization tools. Lead the development of compelling workforce stories and actionable insights through HR business intelligence and data visualization.
- Engage with global HR Operations (Smart Recruiter, HRIS and LMS) and COE (Talent & Organization Development, Compensation & Benefits and Talent Acquisition) professionals to enable strategic initiatives
- Enhance HR's operational capabilities, identifying areas for improvement through technical solutions, optimizing business processes and analyzing and interpreting data to support business with decision making, policy formulation and strategy designing and documenting processes
- Provide oversight and structure to HR Operations projects with an objective to ensure repeatable project success through organizing projects, providing methods, processes and tools to plan, execute and monitor projects
- Effectively manage ongoing relationships with third-party vendors to ensure they adhere to established processes, meet agreed upon service levels and promptly address any issues that may arise
- Partner with IT and legal division to make sure the company fully compliant with data privacy law or regulation
Qualifications
To be successful, we would expect you to have:
- 10 + years of functional experience with Global HRIS implementation and enhancement
- 5 + years managing global HR Operations including HRIS, LMS, ATS, and process etc.
- Proven people leadership experience in HRIS Functions
- Experience working and supporting a global workforce including Asia Pacific, Africa, Europe, LATAM and North America
- Proven success implementing HRIS globally
- Proven success working in a fast-paced, highly matrix and complexity environment
- Analytical approach to problem-solving, and express a deep interest and passion for all things related to HR Operations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in HR or Business
- Experience in M&A and Integration
- Live and work overseas and speak another language besides English
The Ideal candidate should be located in a large European country (Germany, France, UK, or Spain) or in the US (East Coast).
20-30% travel may be for domestic and/or international travel.
