Working as a core member of our Natural Resources team, the Commercial Pricing Manager will provide costing and pricing support to the Geochem Commercial and Onsite business. This includes customizing cost templates, preparing pricing summary sheet including cost-breakdown structure mapping, and general finance support to the Business Development and Sales Team.

More specifically, you will:

  • Work closely with the Operation and Finance groups to manage and provide pricing analytics to senior management, and BD & Sale Teams;
  • Review and analyze current cost and pricing structure with major affiliates and inform management of any issues that arise;
  • Monitor the implementation of the pricing framework (KPIs, revenue realization, SMART charges, annual price adjustment, major contract renewal, etc.);
  • Support the Sales Team in modeling revenue and/or margin opportunities;
  • Monitor, document and analyze pricing actions of competitors;
  • Support the development of the strategy, guidelines, and best practice.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration or Economics;
  • Proven experience in financial, lab operations and / or Sales & Business Development;
  • Strong practical knowledge of commercial lending products and pricing tools;
  • Proven analytical skills and ability to uncover information in big data;
  • Knowledge of laboratory operations or the mining industry will be an asset.
