Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • ·       Enter client purchase orders
  • ·       Create contractor profiles
  • ·       Upload safety tickets and verify validity
  • ·       Accountable for accurate and timely data input.
  • ·       Contact contractors and assist them in logging into the software system
  • ·       Follow all company health, safety and environmental policies.
  • ·       May be asked to act as backup for reception or other administrative areas when required.
  • ·       May be assigned and coordinate special or ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or a General Educational Development equivalency (GED).
  • Post-secondary education in an Administrative field is a strong asset

Experience:

  • 2 - 5 years of previous working experience in a Receptionist/Administrative related role is required.

Specific technical skills:

  • Must be competent with computer
  • Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
  • Candidates must be proficient in using various types of computer software (Word, Excel & Outlook).
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
  • Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar and composition.
  • Ability to work well with others & independently.
  • Proven time management skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Extended hours and shift work may be required from time to time.
  • Ensures full compliance with the company’s Health & Safety, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct policies.
