Job Description
Working on our Digital Labs project, you will play a key role in the configuration of our new Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). You will configure, test and validate the Master Data needed for our systems. Our Digital Labs initiative is a flagship IT project and you will contribute to the number one leader in the TIC industry having a best-in-class IT infrastructure.
More specifically, you will:
- Act as the knowledge transfer specialist during the roll out and implementation of a new master data structure and / or new functionalities.
- Ensure that rules and governance processes (master data categorization, lab workflow, test methods etc) are followed to ensure system standardization.
- Configure master data for LIMS testing and validation exercises.
- Plan and conduct functional testing. Additionally you will identify and assess the root cause of issues found during testing.
- Evaluate and assess the impact of Software changes on approved global Master Data set ups.
- Prepare functional testing documents (Release and UAT Plan) and continues improvement and updates.
- Prepare end-to-end use cases in the LIMS system to support unit and functional testing.
- Assist with the design of any global integration into the LIMS systems.
- Support Process Business Owners in requesting and generating general global backlog for new requirements and functionality improvements.
- Monitor the Lab LIMS process during the UAT execution during the roll out implementations (In remote or on-site).
Qualifications
- Science or IT background with experience of working in a lab environment.
- Knowledge and expertise of LIMS and laboratory processes. You will know how tests are performed and instruments are used.
- An understanding of end-to-end lab processes from client confirming order to report giving to clients and invoicing.
- Comfortable communicating with stakeholders ranging from IT Developers and Lab experts through to Business Managers.
- Proven Microsoft Office skills with knowledge of documenting processes.
- Fluent in English and able to travel.
