Job Description

  • Assisting with the monitoring of sample results and liaise with the correct departments when these are completed or approved
  • Manage clients and key accounts expectations by discussing turnarounds and result status
  • Work alongside other departments to issue preliminary reports when requested by clients
  • Issue various reports and various attachments after liaising with the laboratory manager
  • Manage incoming client queries and assist with any technical or other issues
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and report on this to other departments
  • Assist the administrative team with invoice amendments and support with issuing invoices
  • Data entry of results into the system, keeping this up to date and accurate
  • Support Sample Receipt team whenever required
  • Ensure samples are identified, labelled and stored correctly.
  • Logging and documenting in LIMS system
  • Provide logistics support to clients for pickups and deliveries
  • Ensure standards of quality are in line with internal and external requirements

Qualifications

  • Preferred experience in a laboratory environment or environmental testing
  • Tertiary qualification in a Science field is desirable
  • Preferred experience in the use of LIMS systems
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft office programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Preferred experience in Customer Service and/or Key Account Management role
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in within a team environment
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
