Job Description

The Telemarketing Specialist generates leads utilizing an open-ended questioning approach. They cultivate new business leads within the clients in service and product industries within target verticals. They confirm customer needs, including industry recognized training and certification, ISO standards and other complimentary schemes and generates lead target and qualifies needs for warm turnover to the sales team. 

  • This is a temporary assignment
  • Achieves lead goals within a defined vertical sector. 
  • Assists in developing and implementing agreed upon marketing plan which will meet both personal and business goals by expanding customer base in the assigned verticals. 
  • Uses system tools to effectiveness in lead generation.
  • Makes recommendations to allow further engage prospects and clients on the various solutions the company offers to solve their business issues. 
  • Maintains accurate records of prospecting activities including calls, emails, and follow-up activities within the assigned product sector. 
  • Gathers and submits detailed business information for advancing the lead to an opportunity. 
  • Maintains effective working team relationships with all support departments. 
  • Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans. 
  • At all times, adopts safe behavior by exercising due regard for the health and safety of SGS employees and clients, in line with SGS policies and procedures. 
  • At all times, complies with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.
  • Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ experience in customer service, marketing support or other direct client facing  experience
