  • Permanent full-time postion
  • Residential role in Kalgoorlie WA
  • Competitive Remuneration $66K to $85K depending on roster

Entry-level candidates are invited to apply. We offer on the job training and development. This role will be a residential role based out of Kalgoorlie, WA.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for unloading, loading, sorting and weighing of samples onto drying racks while maintaining numerical order.
  • Responsible for preparing mineral samples for analysis by crushing, milling and transferring sub-samples to sample packets while maintaining numerical order and following established quality control procedures and avoiding contamination.
  • Responsible for good house keeping in sample preparation and associated areas.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who come from a fast-paced background. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in sample preparation OR experience in other physically demanding role
  • Ability to sort and order numbers
  • Ability to work unsupervised and in a team
  • WA C Class Drivers Licence (manual preferred)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen
