Job Description
As the Part-Time Fire Technician, you will prepare, clean-up, and assist with flammability testing.

- Set-up and overhaul of fire testing.
- Construction of new test equipment.
- Modification and maintenance of current equipment.
- Assist in testing of products under supervision.
- Applicants must be NYS certified interior firefighters.
- Job duties include working in smoky environments with respirators.
- Heavy lifting of furniture is required for certain tests.
- Evening and weekend work often required.
- Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2 year College degree
- Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Comfortable using power tools.
- Good with problem solving.
- Mechanically inclined.
