Job Description

This role sits as part of a team of 10+ HR professionals (based in Perth & Melbourne) who are passionate about HR and who have embraced the opportunity to engage in flexible working but who meet regularly to share learnings & stay connected!

Joining our team, you will coordinate various learning, development and training related activities across our national business. You will learn how to manage the Learning Management System at SGS and provide assistance to the wider HR team to drive value-adding activities such as performance reviews, goal setting and training. You will also be responsible for the coordination of various annual reporting and lodgement of government claims for traineeships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be the go to person for the L&D system – help users with access issues, upload content for business managers and compile reports.
  • Assist the HR team to deliver valuable annual Goal Setting activities & Performance Reviews
  • Develop, coordinate and conduct training for managers on different HR systems and processes both face-to-face and online
  • Manage all administration in relation to trainees to deadlines
  • Compile reports on training hours, graduate programs, traineeships and other business requirements  
  • Get creative and develop eLearning content for new employee onboarding, systems & processes and any other areas you have a passion for!

Qualifications

What you need to have to feel confident executing this role:  

  • Demonstrated experience in a HR or Corporate environment
  • Extremely competent with reporting, data entry and administration activities  
  • A relevant qualification (in HR or similar)
  • Experience in facilitating training or public speaking
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • High attention to detail

What would be great to have:

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
  • Understanding of the Australian Education and Training bodies including traineeships
