We currently have an opportunity available for a motivated sample receipt expert, to support our Minerals Geochemistry laboratory in delivering results and invoicing support to our clients. This is a fast paced role requiring the successful applicant to work with the internal and external SGS stakeholders to resolve customer queries.

In particular you will be required to:

• Respond to and maintain records of client inquiries regarding the laboratories capabilities, service offers and the progress of analytical work
• Generate invoices and finalise and issue reports as necessary to satisfy client requests 
• Implement NATA requirements and comply with SGS quality protocols 
• Ensure that analytical data quality checks have been approved by NATA signatories, and that reporting controls are monitored and acted upon. 
• Refer client’s technical queries to the appropriate experts in the laboratory and issue the responses as required 

• Experience in delivering services to clients, preferably in a technical or scientific work environment 
• Knowledge and understanding of a commercial laboratory environment.  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in generating invoices using Orcale
• Excellent computer literacy skills
