Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team and provide high quality and timely inspection and certification services to our customers in the Upper North Island region

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Inspection of boilers and pressure vessels in accordance with NZ Regulations and Standards.
  • Inspection of Cranes in accordance with NZ Regulations and Standards.
  • Welding inspection in accordance with NZ Regulations and Standards. 
  • This will involve inspection at client sites across Tauranga and surrounding regions.
  • Identify and assist in developing and securing both new business and new business opportunities. 
  • Provide training and mentoring to trainees when qualified to do so.
  • 40 hours a week with overtime opportunities

  • This is a full-time position based in Auckland (40 hours per week). 

Qualifications

  • A diploma in engineering from a recognized training establishment or bachelor’s or master's degree in engineering/relevant Technology or Science or A 1st Class Marine Engineer’s Certificate (preferable)
  • Certification Board for Inspection Personnel (CBIP) Qualifications in a relevant discipline are desirable.
  • A minimum of three years relevant inspection experience
  • Welding experience would be an advantage.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – is able to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication setting and can get messages across that have the desired effect.
  • A full and current New Zealand driver license.
