Job Description

You will form part of a dynamic and collaborative team, where you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring samples are accurately identified, labelled, and stored
  • Registering samples through the laboratory management system
  • Assisting clients with logistics issues
  • Resolving inconsistencies with incoming sample
  • Unpacking and sorting samples in a timely manner

Qualifications

You will be provided with on-the-job training on our systems and processes, however to be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience in administration/reception and registering log and data 
  • Experience in a laboratory environment will be highly regarded
  • Be available to work afternoon shift (1pm to 9pm) and have flexibility with shifts, weekend work during peak periods and scheduled and short notice overtime.
  • Be physically fit enough to lift/carry medium size eskies (~20kg each).
  • Hold a drivers licence (desirable) 
  • Forklift/Walkie stacker experience (desirable)
  • LIMS experience (desirable)
  • Great communication skills.
  • Good computer skills
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Proactive and positive ‘can do’ attitude
