Job Description

 ·       Receive samples and supplies, Log samples into Bluephire LIMS

·       Place samples in designated temperature controlled locations or refrigerators

·       Login controlled substances immediately upon receipt.  Notify appropriate lab personnel to secure samples in the safe

·       Review documentation to ensure that all paperwork is properly filled out (report to info, Invoice to info, lot number verification, etc.)

·       Email clients confirming receipt of samples, and any discrepancies with samples/paperwork. Follow-up with clients daily on pending items until resolved

·       Notify Laboratory of incoming rushes

·       Add data sets to assignments when all information is present

·       If tests/methods/specifications are missing, forward to department review

·       Document activities in accordance with cGMP

•         Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.

•         Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

·       High School diploma

·       Minimum 1 year of experience in Log-In or work in Contract Lab setting

Preferred:

·       High School/Associate in a Scientific or Technical area.

·       1 years of experience in Log-In or work in Contract Lab setting

•         Language Skills: English

•         Mathematical Skills: Basic/Intermediate required

•         Reasoning Skills/Abilities: : Basic/Intermediate required

•         Computer Skills: Must possess solid computer skills, be skilled in Microsoft Suite, knowledge of LIMS and Pandadoc very helpful

•         Must be detail oriented

•         Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar and composition.

•         General knowledge of chemistry and/or microbiology and knowledge of various analytical techniques and methodologies.

•         Works well under pressure.

•         Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
