Job Description

Our Senior Associate-Fund Accounting (FA2) master all aspects of fund accounting. They can perform such work without supervision or coaching. The FA2 communicates independently with clients on routine operational matters and is able to resolve issues that have no immediate impact on the client relationship.

The FA2 works closely with the Principal (linked to a client) who reviews the work as performed.  The FA2 has two reporting relationships:

  • To Delivery Team Manager (task assignment / planning of work / governance / people matters)

  • To Principal (content and quality of work / client contacts and relationship / core business processes)

  • The Senior Associate-Fund Accounting is responsible for the entire Fund Accounting process and all related activities except the review and masters all aspects of fund accounting.

  • The FA2 communicates with clients on a day/day basis concerning ongoing work.

  • When to escalate and know when to ask for help is something the FA2 knows perfectly well.

  • OTIF is a key deliverable for the entire delivery functions. The FA2 is responsible for maintaining the status of all work in the planning system, reporting to the Team Manager in the event that the plan cannot be executed as scheduled, signals to the Team Manager and Planning manager (CSM) inaccuracies in planning assumptions.

  • Quality is a sine qua non for all work that is to be submitted to clients. The FA2 is responsible for ensuring that work that is submitted to clients contains no defects. Knowing what you care not able to and when you need help or another pair of eyes is one of the key distinguishing factors between FA2 and more junior team members.

  • The FA2 is able to make recommendations about how to improve work in both quality and efficiency as well as client relationship and contacts.




  • Degree holder or partly qualified ACCA/ACA

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
