Job Description

  1. Being responsible for performing due diligence on existing clients

  2. Ensuring existing clients satisfy AML/CFT regulatory requirements

  3. Assessing the risk level and the KYC requirements for each client, analyze past transactions and identify possible red flags

  4. Conducting screening checks and due diligence on clients to detect PEP / adverse news

  5. Collecting documentation from public sources on clients

  6. Checking compiled documents to ensure they meet AML/CFT requirements

  7. Following up with internal stakeholders to close outstanding CDD issues

  8. Regularly reporting progress or challenges met during the remediation exercise

  9. Escalating issues to the Asia Head of Compliance

    Technical Competencies required:

  1. Understanding of ACRA AML/CFT regulations, TCA N03 and SFA04-N02 notices

  2. Knowledge of KYC processes and requirements

  3. General understanding of IT systems used in the KYC area

  4. Computer literacy with ability to optimize use of technology for work

  5. Experience with periodic review processes and implementation

Qualifications

  1. Diploma/ Degree

  2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Due Diligence or Compliance area related to KYC, AML and CTF

  3. ACAMS/ ICA certification a plus

Additional Information
