The Details:

Location: Downtown Seattle (remote is not available for this role)

 

Work Schedule: Our typical business hours are 8:30-5:00 Monday-Friday

 

Travel Requirements: Up to 10% (mostly in-state)

What You’ll Be Doing:

Reporting to the Managing Director of Learning Projects, the Learning Program Manager will help manage training programs and products across all learning verticals with an emphasis on product and program development, management, and stakeholder relations.  If you want to make a difference in the lives of home care aides and the people who they support, we want to hear from you!

  • Guide the planning and development activities across all learning experience verticals  to clearly define programs in terms of, vision, scope, and product lines; and decide on strategies and priorities;
  • Oversee a team of program and project managers and continue to develop the team’s skills, tools and resources needed to provide value to the organization;
  • Facilitate development and ongoing management of biennial roadmap to articulate key milestones and deliverables across the different learning verticals;
  • Serve as a stakeholder to inter-connected projects and programs that are tangential or may impact learning verticals, programs and products;
  • Oversee program risk management and change management activities across the portfolio;
  • Oversee product lifecycle management, including defining each product’s unique value proposition, collaborating with internal project owners, functional directors and managers, and  teams on product development and iteration cycles, and product retirement;
  • Coordinate with operations/training delivery teams to pilot products and develop models to operationalize and scale delivery;
  • Coordinate with evaluation teams to develop and implement effective program or product evaluation measures;
  • Lead process improvement activities for cross-functional teams and workstreams that will provide better outcomes for learning programs and products;
  • Work with relevant department heads to ensure overall program development and delivery costs are planned for and remain on budget;
  • Prepare and communicate executive dashboard level snapshots and dashboard style reporting tools to communicate program health to senior leadership;
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

You Will Need to Have:

  • 3+ years of management experience;
  • 5+ years of experience in business-related project management;
  • 5+ years of experience working in a program environment, leading cross functional and/or complex programs;
  • Proven ability to lead programs utilizing the PMBOK methodology and discipline;
  • Training program implementation experience;
  • Expert knowledge of project planning and cross-functional team management;
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate collaborative solutions to complex multi-disciplinary problems;
  • Ability to analyze and present data and insights to ignite action, track and evaluate operational effectiveness and identify and mitigate risks;
  • Comfortable and productive working and leading in ambiguous situations;
  • Strong visual presentation skills as related to developing and delivering reports, scorecards, and presentations.

 

It Will Be Great if You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable subject area;
  • Experience in nonprofit organization, training, education or healthcare;
  • Fluency in standard program and project management tools (e.g., Excel, Visio, Smartsheet, Trello);
  • Non-profit experience or education sector experience;
  • PMP Certification;
  • High energy and a desire to work in an environment similar to start-up.
