The Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance – Revenue, the Finance Manager role will be responsible for all Revenue FBP tasks across the Asia emerging markets and proving revenue expertise to the FBPs responsible for our adjacent business portfolios. Key responsibilities include revenue management, management reporting, financial planning and analysis, providing insightful and actionable financial guidance to support our ambitious growth and profitability goals.

You will also serve as a trusted business partner, collaborating effectively with various business functions and country finance teams across Asia. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial management principles, and a proven track record of driving process improvements.

Job Description

Reporting

  • Ownership of the month end reporting cycle for the relevant portfolios, including the delivery of management reporting to key senior stakeholders
  • Analyse results and deliver insight - analysing monthly results and reporting key insights, risks and opportunities
  • Contribute to external reporting - own and deliver financial information included in the bi-annual statutory and investor relations reporting 
  • Drive continuous improvements to processes and reporting

 

Budgeting/forecasting

  • Drive the revenue planning cycle for the applicable Asia markets - ownership of the forecasting and planning cycle, providing in-depth analysis of key drivers and identifying material risks and opportunities
  • Analyse high volumes of data - proactively query and analyse data, identify trends and gaps, model the impact of alternative scenarios and make recommendations to leaders to assist with the decision-making processes
  • Contribute to external reporting - own and deliver financial information included in the bi-annual statutory and investor relations reporting 
  • Drive improvements to the forecasting process including the implementation of a new rolling forecast model

 

Business partnering / APAC initaitves

  • Support strategic planning and execution – assist senior leaders and their management teams in making decisions by preparing ad hoc analysts as required
  • Be a trusted revenue expert to ensure revenue planning, reporting and analytics for the adjacent business portfolios are compliant and aligned with the appropriate frameworks
  • Support the Senior Manager – Revenue with all business partnering activities aligned to the achievement of strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with the APAC BAU lead and the Senior Manager – Revenue to implement consistent reporting/forecasting/processes across the APAC region
  • Support the Senior Manager – Revenue to ensure alignment in the treatment/reporting of new products across APAC as they are rolled out over time

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) with at least 5+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Experience within a commercial finance function with responsibilities covering regular management reporting, financial planning and analysis and business partnering
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, to build day to day finance processes from scratch and continually improve the support provided to the senior leaders you partner with
  • Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Flexibility to adapt to constantly changing environments including ability to work well under pressure with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a cross-location team
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Engaging and objective-minded personality
  • Business & financial analysis, report writing, MS PowerPoint & Excel. Additionally, a strong understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and data visualization tools would be beneficial to further enhance process automation, data analysis, and reporting capabilities.
