SEEK is looking for a Senior Head of Design to lead the design strategy and execution across our Hirer portfolio, shaping high quality, cohesive marketplace experience that drive meaningful customer and business outcomes.

Reporting to the APAC Director of Design & Research, you'll collaborate closely with  a dynamic and passionate Design Leaders to align design with SEEK's strategic goals and ensure our marketplace continues to delight 30 million users each month across 8 countries.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Define and drive a clear, future-focused design strategy grounded in customer needs and aligned to SEEK’s long-term business goals.
• Bring coherence and consistency across complex journeys, platforms and touchpoints within the Hirer ecosystem.
• Drive deep customer understanding through research and data, translating insights into clear product and design direction.
• Identify and deliver opportunities where AI and data meaningfully improve the customer experience, such as better recommendations, assisted workflows, or decision support, while maintaining clarity, trust, and user control
• Lead and mentor a diverse, talented team of designers and leaders, fostering a culture of excellence, empathy, and inclusion.
• Drive innovation in design, pushing the boundaries of design by exploring new trends, technologies, and methodologies to keep SEEK's product experience at the forefront of the industry.
• Elevate the role of design across the organisation, connecting design decisions to business impact and building a strong, aligned design culture.

Essential skills and experience 

• 15+ years of experience in product design and design leadership, ideally within complex, in-house environments.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating impact on customer experience and business performance.
• Strong commercial acumen and decision-making judgement.
• Experience contributing to or delivering AI-powered or data-driven product experiences and understanding of human–AI interaction principles, including trust, transparency and user control.
• Deep product design craft with a high bar for simplicity, usability and clarity.
• Data-informed and outcome-driven mindset.
