Job Description
Join our Employee Services team as an HR Specialist supporting employees across Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. You will act as a trusted HR advisor, coordinating the employee lifecycle from hire to retire while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Reporting to the Manager of HR Operations and Payroll, Asia, you'll work with best-in-class HR technology and collaborate with HR Business Partners and external service providers. Success in this role means delivering exceptional employee experiences, maintaining data accuracy, and becoming a reliable go-to person for HR queries. You will also validate payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance as we transition to vendor-managed payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes including orientation programs and exit procedures
- Act as trusted HR advisor for employees and managers on HR policies, processes, and self-service portal navigation
- Validate payroll processing for assigned regions to ensure accuracy and statutory compliance
- Update and maintain HRIS and payroll system records for employee data changes
- Verify compliance with tax liabilities, statutory contributions, and employment regulations
- Support team projects including regional payroll outsourcing transition planning
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in HR operations, employee services, or payroll processing
- Strong employee service mindset with ability to handle sensitive matters diplomatically
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel) and comfort with HR cloud systems
- Solid understanding of HR and employment regulations in Malaysia, Singapore, or Hong Kong
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality
