About You

You will join the SEEK Business engineering team — a self‑contained scale‑up powered by SEEK’s global platform. You will design, build, and maintain full‑stack software that powers Australia’s largest online business‑for‑sale marketplace. Working across TypeScript, NodeJS, React, GraphQL, and AWS, you’ll deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions end‑to‑end. You will collaborate daily with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, contributing to architecture decisions and continuous improvement in DevOps, CI/CD, and automation. Success in this role means shipping well‑crafted code, owning complex technical decisions, and helping the team raise engineering quality while driving rapid delivery.

What You Will Do

• Design and build high‑performance full‑stack applications using modern tech
• Own services through development, testing, deployment, and production support
• Contribute to architecture decisions and continuous delivery improvements
• Collaborate with design, product, and cross‑functional teams to deliver at speed
• Strengthen DevOps culture through CI/CD, observability, and automation
• Ensure reliability and performance of SEEK Business’s platforms
• Share learnings and mentor peers to uplift technical standards

Skills and Experience 

• Strong experience developing full‑stack applications with TypeScript and NodeJS
• Solid knowledge of React, GraphQL, and REST API design
• Hands‑on experience with AWS and modern DevOps practices
• Familiarity with serverless frameworks, Elastic Search, or NextJS a plus
• Proven ability to deliver secure, well‑tested, maintainable code
• Comfortable collaborating across disciplines in agile, cross‑functional teams
