As a Senior Strategy Analyst at SEEK Kuala Lumpur, you’ll help shape the next wave of growth across Asia. You’ll work closely with Strategy Leads and leaders across regional markets to analyse trends, assess opportunities and build strategies that accelerate SEEK’s ambition. You’ll gather data, design frameworks and communicate insights that guide leadership decisions and influence cross-functional outcomes.

You will join a collaborative strategy team that connects local market and central functions to deliver projects driving our regional growth. Your success will be seen in clear recommendations and well-executed initiatives that move key metrics within your first six to twelve months.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in the team that is tasked with solving some of SEEK’s most challenging strategic questions
• Conduct deep-dive analytical studies and data analysis to support the delivery of strategic projects
• Conduct cross-country external market research
• Build financial models and business cases to assess and build support for opportunities
• Monitor regional KPIs and conduct detailed competitor analysis
• Lead project modules relating to the execution of our strategy for SEEK Asia in key functional areas (e.g. Product, Sales & Ops)

At least 2-3 years in a top tier consulting firm; additional industry experience is a plus but not necessary

• Highly developed reasoning capabilities, analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to break down and scope strategic problems
• Experienced in developing business level strategy and defining this in terms of specific objectives, targets and initiatives
• Ability to motivate and lead strategy project teams to deliver results that beat expectations

Passion for developing creative fact-based growth strategy and excellent business acumen

• High degree of intellectual flexibility with a passion for understanding complex human and economic interactions and ‘making sense’ of the world
• A track record of having tackled genuinely ambiguous and strategic problems (i.e. where to play, how to win)
• A high learning orientation and a desire to become a global expert in online marketplace design and operations

Track record of working with others to ‘get stuff done’

• Ownership, drive - delivering outcomes with cross functional, cross market teams
• Ability to establish relationships and influence senior stakeholders from a range of cultures
• Collaborative and empathetic work style. High degree of humility and willingness to “get stuck in”
