Job Description

As our first Head of AI Security, you’ll define how we build and scale AI securely, protecting trust while enabling bold, responsible innovation across the organisation.

This role is uniquely positioned: a senior technology leader shaping strategy, governance and capability for one of SEEK’s most critical areas of innovation.

What You’ll Be Doing

✓ Establishing and leading SEEK’s AI Security function from the ground up
✓ Defining the frameworks, standards and controls for secure AI adoption
✓ Translating complex AI risks into clear business impact for senior leaders
✓ Partnering across engineering, product, AI transformation and governance
✓ Leading AI vendor assessments and influencing enterprise tool decisions
✓ Ensuring the security of AI platforms, models and third-party AI tools
✓ Guiding incident response and learning for AI-related risks
✓ Building SEEK’s standing as a leader in safe, responsible AI enablement

Qualifications

We value capability, judgment and impact—not rigid criteria. You may bring:

✓ Experience leading security functions in complex, modern technology environments
✓ Deep expertise in AI security, including LLM risks, adversarial techniques and model assurance
✓ Ability to balance innovation velocity with responsible, risk-based controls
✓ Credibility with executives and influence across engineering and product teams
✓ Experience developing AI security frameworks aligned to NIST, ISO and industry standards
✓ A collaborative, people-first leadership style that grows capability and confidence
✓ Comfort guiding secure adoption through change, ambiguity and fast-moving priorities

Backgrounds in AI/ML security, cloud security, adversarial risk, DevSecOps or emerging tech will all be valuable.
