Job Description

Reporting to the Head of SEEK Business, the Principal Content Designer role is a hands-on leadership role focused on the strategic use of content to enhance our user experience and drive growth for the business. Working collaboratively with the SEEK Business team, you will be responsible for designing and writing content for the SEEK Business platform that delights users, creates competitive advantage, and drives business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop deep domain expertise about the business buying and selling process and market.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance our products and strategic position in the market.
  • Create and deliver on a content strategy in line with the business strategy to drive desired business outcomes.
  • Drive content research and testing to uncover insights about our users, evaluate potential solutions, and identify opportunities for content innovation.
  • Write long, short, and micro copy as required.
  • Design effective content-driven user experiences by applying best practice UX principles and leveraging data.
  • Lead content projects from creation to execution and ensure we deliver on customer value as well as business outcomes.
  • Identify success metrics to measure the effectiveness of content solutions.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you need to have:

  • 5+ years of content design or UX writing experience, ideally within a tech/product organisation, including information architecture design and content modelling.
  • Experience driving content design research and testing projects.
  • Exceptional UX writing skills and experience working within brand guidelines, ensuring  consistency of voice, tone, and style.
  • Great stakeholder management and influencing skills to turn ideas into action and strive for progress over perfection.
  • Good critical thinking skills that enable you to make informed decisions, leveraging qualitative and quantitative data and insights.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for small business/business ownership.
