Job Description

This role will be reporting to Regional Head of Business Planning and Operations Excellence, JobStreet Express. In this role, you will work in teams to solve complex operational issues as well as support the development of new growth initiatives. You will work with internal and external customers across SEEK’s area of operations on activities ranging from data collection and analyses, problem-solving, and participating in strategic decision-making with key executives.

This role is based in Kuala Lumpur. There will be expected interactions with stakeholders within SEEK Asia markets as well as teams in ANZ as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in end-to-end development of growth initiatives:
  • Define strategic narratives, customer segmentation, and go-to-market plan
  • Generate execution plan with timelines, targets, and key achievements
  • Work with internal and external customers to launch and implement the plan
  • Measure, monitor and report critical metrics, identify problems, and iterate process improvements
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct change management with internal and external organization to implement new processes and initiatives
  • Consolidate data analysis and build executive-level communications materials to drive key strategic decisions
  • Support, and at times lead, growth-hacking initiatives in key functional areas (e.g., Product, Sales & Operations)
  • Design, build and maintain dashboards to monitor performance and projects
  • Identify new data dimension and strategic lead indicator requirement based on new and evolving business requirements and evaluate the best application of such information for analytic and reporting.
  • Assist in conceptualisation, development and execution of experiments / commercialization of new value, customer journeys and products, in collaboration with Marketing, Product, Business Development, GTM, and Country teams, to ensure end-to-end success
  • Ideate, size and support execution of strategies across the customer lifecycle, i.e. acquisition, retention, upsell and win-back to achieve growth in focused segments
  • Build business models to identify, assess and build support for revenue opportunities
  • Contribute to our understanding of “how we win” in the long term and ensuring our growth is sustainable and improves our market positionin

Qualifications

The successful candidate should ideally have the following skills, experiences, and competencies:

  • Graduates from Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related majors
  • Proven experiences in data analysis, strategy, data science, or research-related roles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau (Desktop or Server) or similar Business Intelligence tool (e.g., Power BI, Periscope)
  • Experience with ETL, AWS Athena, Databricks (supports SQL, Python, R, Scala, etc.) is an advantage
  • Experience with Web Analytics (Omniture, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, A/B testing, etc.) is an advantage
  • Adept at cohort and segmentation analysis
