Based in our regional headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, the Senior Analyst will be reporting to Head of Ops Strategy for Seek Asia and will:

• Provide a consultancy role for internal teams/partners – helping with case definition, measures of success and measurement of performance
• Design and build dashboards to supervise performance and projects
• Deliver accurate and value-adding actionable insights
• Communicate clear data, analysis and actionable insights to support key decisions
• Independently handle data queries from internal partners, the analyst is expected to self-build datasets if the latter are not readily available

The good fit candidate will have:

• Demonstrated ability working in analysis, strategy or research-related roles for 5 years
• Strong familiarity with statistical methods
• Collaborative mentality passionate about end-to-end results
• Experienced in working on strategy or research projects and defining these in terms of specific objectives and desired outcomes

The successful candidate will be proficient with the following tools & technologies:

• SQL (advanced level)
• Tableau (Desktop & Server)
• Microsoft Excel

Willingness to learn the basics (expertise not required) some of the following tools and platforms:

• Web Analytics (Omniture, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, A/B testing etc.)
• Databricks (supports SQL, Python, R, Scala etc.)

Besides, candidates with one or all of the following will be preferred:

• Experience in online businesses and/ or technology
• Experience developing Marketplace Liquidity Models
• Exposure to South-East Asia
