Job Description

  • Plan, oversee, and manage the development and execution of the Accelerator program. Manage the implementation of the Accelerator’s programming schedule, which will include: consultant trainings, mentorship sessions, retreats/activities, pitch sessions, weekly/monthly meetings, etc
  • Design full program, processes, playbooks, and policies to standardize and scale the Accelerator program.
  • Provide logistical and operational support and oversight to program associates and participants.
  • Continually revise and maintain a flexible curriculum that is aligned with current best practices.
  • Design and administer surveys and other assessment tools to capture and analyse data for program planning, decision-making, and reporting.
  • Partner with government agencies, stakeholders, industry experts, and outside vendors to improve the quality, scope, and delivery of programs.
  • Identify and initiate working relationships and to develop and maintain them that is of mutual benefit.
  • Exchange of information and ideas among participants, visitors, clients, and colleagues with a common profession or special interest.
  • Grow and maintain SEA Ventures community. Represent SEA Ventures to government and industry partners.
  • Work with SEA Ventures leadership team to identify ways to incorporate the Accelerator program into other business lines. 
  • Identify/head hunt high potential startups to join the accelerator program locally and internationally.
  • Manage recruitment and selection of portfolio of the startups. In addition, to support in the recruitment of project-based employees as well as to onboard and train program associates.
  • Set expectations and key performance metrics for direct reports (Program Associates).
  • Provide strategy consulting to startups in areas such as business model, client acquisition, overall strategy, financing, fundraising, market research, operations, branding, etc.
  • Provide targeted one-on-one support to startups to clear policy obstacles
  • Monitor startups’ progress and write weekly reports.
  • Represent the company on internal and external committees/organizations
  • Support other team members as needed and when required
  • Additional may be given as needed and when needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Business or related major.
  • 5+ years of work experience.
  • Previous relevant experience with the job is a MUST.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and experience.
  • Experience in new ventures, strategy consulting, venture capital, product innovation or equivalent is a bonus

Additional Information

  • Bilingul Arabic/English.
  • The ability to lead a small team and manage a program from soup to nuts – project/program management, client-facing experience, and event planning experience are ideal.
  • Able to oversee and lead operations in a fast-paced environment.

  • Capable of multitasking, able to priorities workflow and manage multiple projects with minimal to moderate direction.
