Job Description

The Configuration and Data Administrator is responsible for implementing SEAKR configuration and data management procedures.  This is a full-time non-exempt position in which the work is performed under limited supervision. This is a hybrid position, where 1-2 days a week are required on-site, and the remainder can be performed remotely from home.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

·       Support program configuration and data administration needs.

·       Maintain and report on Configuration Management activities including configuration status accounting.

·       Release SEAKR engineering documents and drawings when approved.

·       Provide change control of released documents via Engineering Change Orders (COs).

·       Track Program and SEAKR internal documentation releases.

·       Create and maintain configuration data in SEAKR’s ERP database, such as product structures and engineering part revisions.

·       Edit and format documents to conform to standard company styles

Other Duties/Responsibilities:

·       Follow SEAKR rules and regulations as documented in the SEAKR Employee Handbook.

·       Follow SEAKR’s CM processes, as defined in quality system SEPs, SEWIs, and STGs.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

·       Knowledge of company operations as they relate to ensuring customer configuration management expectations and requirements.

·       Knowledge of business English, spelling, punctuation and grammar.

·       Knowledge of Personal Computer operations including Microsoft Office tools.

·       Ability to exercise independent judgment.

·       Ability to successfully operate as part of a multi-functional team, including engineering, program management and manufacturing.

·       Ability to accept direction from immediate supervisor as well as program managers.

·       Ability to prioritize and work multiple tasks.

·       Ability to train organization and company employees on configuration management functions.

·       Knowledge of word processing (particularly in Microsoft Word), spreadsheet and database software.         

·       Ability to prepare and maintain records and reports.      

·       Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.    

·       Ability to establish good rapport with members of management and other employees.         

·       Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

·       Ability to work on more than one task at a time.

·       Ability to work in an office environment.

·       Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

·       Ability to proofread a variety of documents and to pay attention to detail.

     

            Education or Formal Training 

·       Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.

 

             Experience  (minimum level of experience)

·       Minimum of 3 years work experience in configuration management systems or data administration roles. Preference is given to candidates with experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment with strict command media and/or documented process controls.

           

Additional Information

Compensation: Base pay range is $24-$34/hour, depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. SEAKR offers a variety of paid leave, such as vacation, sick, bereavement, and FMLA. There is potential for a remote hybrid work schedule once training is complete.
