Job Description

Seeking a Quality Engineer who has a minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance Engineering in electronics manufacturing.

  • The Senior Quality Engineer must have full knowledge of Quality Systems, such as AS9100
  • The Senior Quality Engineer will be involved with all program decisions pertaining to Quality Assurance from the initial Statement of Work through to final delivery of the product.
  • The Senior Quality Engineer will provide guidance to the Quality Engineers and work resolution of any problems that occur outside of the normal Quality Engineering purview.
  • The Senior Quality Engineer will delegate and oversee program support by junior Quality Engineers
  • Must have a solid understanding of non-conformance resolution and corrective action implementation
  • Strong understanding of electronic and mechanical engineering drawings and environmental testing of electronic assemblies is required

Qualifications

A Bachelors degree in a technical field along with 10 years of experience is desired. Experience is considered in lieu of a degree.

Knowledge of product test conduction and formal product acceptance testing

Knowledge of MRB and FRB functions including customer notification

Must be able to use a PC, including Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access

Additional Information

Compensation: Base salary range is $85,000 - $120,000, depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. SEAKR offers a variety of paid leave, such as vacation, sick, bereavement, and FMLA.
