Job Description

  • Show new employees what it is like to work at SEAKR, by conducting orientation in a way that gets them excited and engaged in SEAKR’s work and culture.
  • Sell SEAKR to prospective candidates by supporting the recruiting function. The HR Assistant will work with candidates to schedule interviews, post open requisitions to various job boards, and provide reports to the recruiting team.
  • Manage the employee mentorship program. 
  • Create the employee newsletter with informative and valuable information.
  • Process new hire paperwork and maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files.
  • Plan and execute teambuilding events and activities.
  • Provide clerical support to the HR and Recruiting functions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have a high attention to detail.
  • Self starter and quick learner who can work with limited oversight.
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations professionally.
  • Proficient with, or the ability to quickly learn, human resource information systems (HRIS).
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively to all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to be flexible and resourceful as situations change.

Experience and Education:

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in an administrative role, an Associates degree will be accepted in lieu of experience.
  • Must have at least a high school diploma or GED.

 

 

Additional Information

Compensation: Base pay range is $19-$22 depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. SEAKR offers a variety of paid leave, such as vacation, sick, bereavement, and FMLA.
