Job Description

The Mission Integration (MI) role requires an ability to take several different components of a system and understand how they work together and ultimately how they need to operate to successfully execute all mission objectives. Experience with modeling and simulation environments such as STK or AFSIM is also highly valuable. Experience with MBSE based Digital Twins and Digital Threads is also highly valuable.  This role requires someone who has the ability to learn new technologies at an accelerated rate and then use this knowledge to effectively work with internal and external teams to ensure the mission objectives are met. Integration focal points include: hardware, software, network topology, embedded cybersecurity, ground systems, inter-satellites communications and mission execution environments.  This role requires strong written & verbal communication skills, presentation skills as well as a firm grasp of the development life cycle for space based programs. Candidate shall contribute on detailed technical content both internally and externally facing. 

Responsibilities for this position:

  • Mission Requirement development and derivation into lower tier requirements
  • Develop Concept of Operations (CONOPS) of mission objectives/capabilities
  • Author mission design documentation utilizing input from program SMEs
  • Develop day in the life (DITL) content focused on mission objectives/capabilities
  • Author mission level test documentation ensuring mission success prior to flight
  • Develop and guide Launch and Early Operations (LEOPs) plans
  • Facilitate customer interactions and lead technical discussions
  • Lead integration efforts with multiple sub-contractors and customers to ensure program success throughout entire life cycle of a program
  • Desired: Experience in a Mission Operations Center or Satellite Operations Center
  • Desired: Experience with modeling & simulation environments (eg: STK, AFSIM)
  • Desired: Experience with proliferated constellation systems

Qualifications

  • TS/SCI active security clearance required
  • Minimum: Bachelors of Science in: Aerospace/Electrical/Computer Engineering
  • Mission integration experience within the aerospace industry for space based programs
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience is required 

Additional Information

Compensation: Base pay range is $100,000 - $130,000 depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. SEAKR offers a variety of paid leave, such as vacation, sick, bereavement, and FMLA.
