Job Description

Seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician who will be responsible for soldering components to a PCB following NASA and IPC standards. The candidate will primarily be responsible for the use of the pick and place machine and component preparation operations. The candidate may perform prepping of components (tinning, resistor measurements, verify kit), wire attachment, component staking, or masking for conformal coating to an engineering drawing and manufacturing traveler.  Conformal coating and foaming experience is a plus. Pick and place and Vapor Phase experience is a highly desired quality.   

Qualifications

  • Solder certifications to NASA 8739 or IPC J-STD-001 is a plus.
  • Must be able to use a microscope.
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Must have at least 1 years of experience in SMT.

Additional Information

Compensation: Base pay range is $20-25/hour depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. SEAKR offers a variety of paid leave, such as vacation, sick, bereavement, and FMLA.

This is a mid shift with hours of 12pm-9:30pm on a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off)
