Job Description

General Purpose: The Program Manager, IRAD is responsible for managing the successful execution of multiple IRAD programs including cost, schedule, and technical performance. IRAD programs are focused on emerging technologies required for new business opportunities and are aligned with SEAKR technology roadmap goals. This is a full-time exempt position in which the work is performed under limited supervision by the Chief Technology Officer and is evaluated on results obtained.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Review/develop IRAD program statements of work, budgets, and schedules.
  • Work with other staff to manage priorities and resources for IRAD activities along with coordinating with Business Operations to monitor IRAD program costs.
  • Support IRAD Technical Leads in making difficult program decisions.
  • Provide an overview of IRAD activities to Executive Management on a periodic basis (nominally every month) or as requested.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills are required.
  • The ability to successfully manage multiple, concurrent, programs is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or graduate degree in Engineering and/or Physics, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills are required.
