We are currently seeking an entry-level Business Development Specialist (BDS) who will serve in a key role helping grow SEAKR's sales. The BDS will work with the business development team to coordinate and help with proposals, and as time permits, to assist with marketing, strategy, and customer sales engagements.  This is an exciting and diverse role with exposure across the organization.

As a valuable member of the proposals team, the BDS will help with may aspects of the proposal process such as creating and tracking milestones and schedules, coordinating team meetings, cost estimating, and editing.  The BDS will work with the capture and proposal managers to organize and drive the proposal team to execute a professional proposal response on time with efficient use of resources and funds.

As time permits, the BDS will have the opportunity to work in other important Business Development activities and priorities. Creating an up-to-date market presence is critical for attracting new customers and employees.  The BDS may develop new product literature, drive marketing booth upgrades, maintain/improve the company webpage, manage social media, and write press releases. The BDS will also support multiple industry trade shows and conferences including attending and preparing marketing materials.

The BDS may assist with strategic planning and market analysis projects, and may also monitor and track government acquisition activities on multiple government sites for potential new SEAKR business activities.

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, engineering or other related field.
