Compensation: $11,000 per month + expenses


Position Summary

We are seeking a Safety Manager to oversee workplace safety programs, compliance initiatives, and risk management activities for a short-term project assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, managing incident response activities, and promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.

          Job Description

          • Develop, implement, and monitor workplace safety programs and procedures.
          • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
          • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
          • Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-miss events, and recommend corrective actions.
          • Coordinate and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.
          • Support emergency preparedness planning, evacuation procedures, and safety drills.
          • Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
          • Collaborate with management and operational teams to promote continuous safety improvements.
          • Monitor contractor safety compliance and ensure adherence to site-specific safety requirements.
          • Prepare and present safety performance reports to leadership

          Qualifications

          • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
          • 2–3 years of experience in Safety Management, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Occupational Safety, or a related field.
          • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
          • Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action planning.
          • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
          • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
          • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
          • OSHA 30 a must
          • Preferred Qualifications
          • Experience in manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, construction, or industrial environments.
          • First Aid/CPR, or other safety-related certifications preferred.
          • Experience leading safety training and employee engagement programs.
          • Bilingual Korean/English is a plus.
