Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist with a strong background in MacBook support within a Microsoft 365 (M365) environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting macOS devices in a corporate setting, with preferred knowledge of Jamf for device management. You will play a key role in ensuring our end-users have a seamless and secure experience with their devices, productivity tools, and collaboration platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tier 1 and 2 support for macOS devices, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Configure, deploy, and maintain MacBooks using Kandji or other mobile device management (MDM) tools.
Support and administer Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Exchange Online.
Manage user accounts, licenses in Azure AD and Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on MacBooks and escalate complex problems as necessary.
Handle onboarding and offboarding of employees including provisioning/deprovisioning of hardware and software.
Assist with network and printer configurations for macOS users.
Document support processes, maintain asset inventory, and ensure compliance with company IT policies.
Collaborate with the broader IT team on projects and initiatives that impact end-user computing.
Qualifications
Qualification:
1+ years’ experience in a similar IT support or helpdesk role, primarily focused on macOS.
Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 apps and services.
Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and identity/access management.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to work independently.
Team works play required and excellent communication and customer service skills.
