Job Description

  • Overview:

    Luxe Interiors + Design Colorado has an exciting career opportunity available for a Publisher to lead our Sales team. The Publisher will manage the team on a day-to-day basis with the goal of delivering value to the existing client base and broadening the base with new advertisers. You must be a strategic thinker who can execute sales, marketing and networking plans, be hands-on and media savvy. The Publisher will be a Player/Coach.

    As the Publisher, you will also play an active role in the community as a face of the brand, as well as a networking resource for members of the design trade. The ideal individual has prior media sales management experience, with a proven history of exceeding revenue goals, leading events and establishing overall best practices.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Achieving print and digital market sales targets
    Achieving print and digital personal sales targets
    Prioritizing activities, targets and strategies for the team
    Setting meetings and making in-person sales presentations
    Conducting training and development of the staff when it comes to prospecting, cold-calling, closing and account management
    Assisting Sales Directors on an as needed basis; ride alongs, closing, etc.
    Conducting sufficient client/prospect needs analysis, followed by proposal and closing behavior
    Maintaining Luxe rate integrity and brand standards
    Event management, including the coordination of showroom and client networking events
    Attending industry events each week throughout the market
    CRM management: managing data related to staff, clients, prospects, and sales

Qualifications

  • Experience:

    Proven track record of generating new business
    History of consistently exceeding sales goals
    Experience in Media Sales, or luxury, shelter, design or decorating industries are a plus
    Leader and Manager skills with the ability to motivate others. A creative problem solver.
    Hard work and tenacity to achieve goals
    Skilled at the art of closing and the ability to overcome objections

    Ability to close and exceed sales goals
    Polished presentation skills
    Must be goal-oriented, assertive and very well-organized
