Job Description

We are looking for someone with legal experience who is interested in developing their reporting and analytical skills within an airline environment. The Legal Reporting Analyst will help the Legal team organise information, prepare reports, monitor legal deadlines, and provide administrative and analytical support. 

This is a development-focused role, so previous airline or advanced data-analysis experience is essential. Training and guidance will be provided.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Help prepare regular reports on legal matters, claims, deadlines, and legal costs. 
  • Update legal trackers, databases, spreadsheets, and document-management systems. 
  • Gather information from Legal and other teams, such as Finance, Customer Service and Operations. 
  • Check that information is accurate and follow up on missing details. 
  • Support the monitoring of legal deadlines, case updates, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Assist with analysis to identify trends in claims, disputes, and legal spending. 
  • Help prepare summaries, presentations, and dashboards for management. 
  • Support tracking and coordination with external law firms. 
  • Assist the Legal team with projects and general administrative tasks. 
  • Learn about airline operations and relevant aviation regulations. 
  • The analyst gradually develops stronger reporting, data-analysis, and airline-industry knowledge. 

Qualifications

  • Some previous legal experience, such as work in a law firm, in-house legal team, internship, or paralegal role. 
  • A law degree, legal qualification, or relevant practical experience would be helpful. 
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. 
  • Able to organise information and present it clearly. 
  • Good attention to detail and willingness to learn. 
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Able to manage several tasks and meet deadlines. 
  • Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information.
