Job Description

Service Advisor

We have an immediate opening for a Service Advisor at our Timmins location. This is a permanent full-time position. The shift is Monday to Friday 9:00AM to 6:00PM.

Reporting to the Service Manager this position is responsible for scheduling service repair work in a busy service department and following the progress of repairs throughout the date.

Responsibilities :

  • Schedules service appointments.
  • Provides customers with complete and accurate written cost estimates, establishing time required to complete work.
  • Obtains customer signature on repair orders.
  • Establishes customer method of payment.
  • Obtains credit approvals.
  • Notifies dispatcher of incoming work.
  • Checks on progress of repairs and contacts customers regarding changes in estimate or promised time.
  • Review and closes repair orders.
  • Explains completed work and all charges to customers.

Requirements :

  • Completion of Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in Heavy Truck or Automotive Industry is preferred/asset.
  • Valid Class G Driver’s license
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer skills – ADP/CDK experience is an asset.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Dedicated, friendly attitude.
