Job Description

This is a key role to provide exemplary levels of service to our customers by managing orders from receipt through to delivery. Work with engineering, purchasing and manufacturing to ensure the customers’ requirements are met in full. Ensure that the customer is kept always up-to-dated on order developments whilst managing any issues in a proactive manner. Customers rely on us for innovative, high quality and dependable solutions for managing the flow of liquids and gases. Responsible for helping customers around the world to improve efficiency, reduce emissions, minimize their environmental impact and assure safety.

Reporting to the Costumer Service Team Leader, in this role you will be build strong relationships with customers and other internal departments to ensure customer requirements are followed, you will provide attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and approach challenges with a proactive mindset and find solutions to problems. Operate across three end market focused divisions: Oil & Gas, Water & Power, and Chemical, Process & Industrial (CPI).

In this role you will identify and use price lists to provide customers with accurate pricing and lead-time, identify and resolve order queries with customers and ensure that their requirements are correctly interpreted and fully understood. Liaise and use negotiation skills with both customers and internal departments regarding delivery or special requirements, work with the other team members for all the technical matters. You will work with the Quality department to resolve and investigate customer quality complaints, ensuring customer expectations are managed through to resolution.

This role would suit a determined problem-solver, who has got excellent Interpersonal and communication skills written and oral, ability to approach challenges with a proactive mindset and find solutions to problems. Experience in the valve industry, using an ERP system.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

  • Basic technical knowledge (electrical, pneumatic/hydraulic, instrumentation, etc.)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role or in contract management
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Commercial awareness or customer service experience
